Oh Buggy was started by Brooks Fuentes and Noel Javier while dreaming of a way to combine our creative energies into something we could share with those we love. Each design is inspired by the tiny things that we find endearing in this world, like taking naps in the middle of the day, eating an ice cream cone, or taking a ride on a scooter. We believe that what we wear is a statement beyond that of fashion, which is why we have made every effort to bring you something we can honestly stand behind. This means supporting organic cotton shirts, low impact dyeing, and sweatshop free garments. Above all, our designs are wearable and sincere. Noel is from Louisville, KY and has a B.A. in photography from the University of Louisville. He also works as a photographer and graphic designer for a local studio. He enjoys good whiskey and makes a mean stove popped popcorn. Brooks is from Mexico City and was raised in Atlanta, GA. She's working on a B.A. in Spanish and social science at Portland State University. She loves her home country and hopes to return to it soon, but for now she entertains herself with various projects involving fashion and design. She professes a great love for the New Yorker magazine. Together we enjoy shopping at thrift stores, taking trips to the Oregon coast, and dancing around our living room. We constantly draw inspiration from each other and we hope people can see the goodness of our designs.
